March 2026

This Beretta 84BB came into the shop looking and feeling it's age. The customer naturally wanted a face lift and some style. So, I got to work. I first gave the slide a nice gloss black Cerakote paint job with a high spot slide polish aka the "Equinox treatment" and replaced the red safety dots. Then, I Cerakoted the frame in gloss black as well. For the next step the customer wanted to replace all the hand controls and other visible parts with nickel plated parts. Not all required parts were available to purchase so I had to plate a few parts myself as well as hand tool a few for precise fitment. Finally, I replaced the grip panels with these beautiful wooden ebony floral engraved grip panels and nickel grip screws. After fit and finish complete, this gun shoots like a dream and looks devilishly mean. I think I'll call this one "The Tuxedo Job"
